At home in Indian Wells, Taylor Fritz won the best title of his career so far by halting Rafael Nadal’s incredible winning streak in the final (three titles and 20 consecutive victories). It was huge achievement for the 24-year-old American, who had a superb season that included a quarter-final appearance at Wimbledon and a place in the semi-finals at the ATP Finals in Turin.
